It’s been one month since the Butterfly Project finalists started their journey to achieve the ultimate makeover. While some are still taking it at a leisurely pace, others are really working it out! Chan Wan Lee checks in with them as they pay a visit to Marie France Bodyline, their new slimming sponsor, for a consultation on their diet.

Eating habits: “Honestly? I really love eating nasi lemak. Having it two to three times a week for breakfast is a must. I usually have rice for lunch and something with bread for dinner… like a burger.”

Diet history: “I’ve tried diets that are low in carbs and high in protein. My diet was not constant and the outcome was not weight lost… it was weight gain!”

Current diet: “I’m currently trying a high protein diet again. Hopefully Marie France Bodyline can teach me the right way to do it this time.”

Biggest dieting challenge: “Dieting is basically very hard for me due to my love for food. It’s difficult to live without all the lip smacking Malaysian food!”

Best solution: “I’m going to try recording down my daily food intake in a diet diary! I’ll list down all the calories I consume in each meal and try to cut down from there.”

Reebok progress report:
“I’m getting more and more comfortable in my body-hugging Reebok attire as the Butterfly Project progresses. At home, I try to find the time to practice the workouts that Candi Soo taught me to burn some fat on my thighs. It takes some time to get used to it, but when my thighs start burning, I know that it’s working.”
